Linggo ng Wika was a day of celebration!
To celebrate our Filipino culture and heritage, we took the time to transform the classrooms and changed the ambiance. Coconut leaves, plants and native looking houses did the trick!
The students were then asked to come to school dressed in Filipino attire. The teachers also heartily participated by dressing up as well.
Enjoyable activities were done by the kids as we introduced them to different Filipino songs and dances and tried the different games we used to play when we were kids.
Filipino food and delicacies were brought by the kids and they got the chance to try them all out. Take a look at this slide show as we had our Barrio Fiesta at Dynamic Minds. Enjoy!
